Send to Agreemnt - Outlook add-in
A button that shows up whenever you’re reading an email in Outlook. Click it, and it opens a pre-filled forward addressed to your organization’s Agreemnt inbound address, with the original email attached - you click Send, and Agreemnt reads it in exactly the same way as forwarding it by hand. Useful when a contract is sitting in an existing thread rather than a fresh attachment.
Not in the Microsoft store yet - installed by uploading a file directly in Outlook, which takes about a minute and works the same whether you’re on Outlook on the web or Outlook on Windows.
Install it
- 1Download manifest.xml.
- 2Go to aka.ms/olksideload - this opens Outlook on the web straight to the Add-Ins dialog. (Or in classic Outlook on Windows: File → Manage Add-ins.)
- 3Select My add-ins, then under Custom Addins select Add a custom add-in → Add from File, and upload the file from step 1.
- 4A small “Agreemnt” group with two buttons now shows up on the ribbon whenever you’re reading an email. It appears immediately in Outlook on the web; in classic Outlook on Windows it can take up to 24 hours (Microsoft’s own caching, not an install problem).
Not currently supported: Outlook on Mac and Outlook mobile - both block this kind of manual install at the platform level, regardless of the add-in.
One-time setup
The first time, click Agreemnt Settings on the ribbon and paste in your organization’s inbound address - find it on Settings → Team under “Forward-by-email”. It’s stored in your own Outlook profile, not on Agreemnt’s servers, and each person who installs the add-in does this once.
Using it
Open any email with a contract in it and click Send to Agreemnt. A normal “new message” window opens, already addressed with the original email attached as a forward - check it looks right and click Send, same as forwarding anything else. Agreemnt picks it up exactly like a manual forward.
